Roe V Wade a Catastrophe

America the the land of dreams and opportunities has now become a third world country with a gucci belt. The supreme court has been having a battle over the Roe V Wade case to ban abortion and other reproductive health activities.

Who would have thought the land of the free is banning personal right to reproductive health care and abortion. Roe V Wade is now officially over turned with the USA going back to the dark ages of hangers, herbs , and alleyway abortions. This ban is devastating news to many women across the states not only does it ban abortion in general but also in cases rape, incest and health risk patients where the mother can die.

Not only will women not be allowed to have abortions even if medically necessary but they will be prosecuted by law and face jail time if they decide to go against the ban. The doctors and attendees who are present during the procedure will also be prosecuted as accomplices to a so called murder. When testing a women to see if she’s had an abortion or not, miscarriages show up in the body the same way plan b does, so women who have recently miscarried will also be prosecuted if anyone decides to accuse them of having an abortion.

The overturning of Roe v Wade isn’t a pro life movement, in fact it is an antiwoman movement where a fetus is more important than a woman’s health and safety. The male ego has felt that it lost control over women, in the past men used to gain control over women by marrying them getting them pregnant and entrapping them with children, but with abortion and women’s ability to freely divorce a man and still be able to survive due to most modern day women working and having their own source of income, men in power feel the need to gain back their control over women with the most primal way of doing so through forcing women to become mothers.

A brutal law that obliterates women’s reproductive freedom, that will negatively impact low income women and women of color who will not be able to go out of state and get the medical treatment necessary. Women will become felons by undergoing an abortion, women will not be able to vote because of undergoing an abortion (for clarification a felon does not have the right to vote in the USA), this takes the women empowerment and equality movement centuries back.

Words cannot describe my feelings toward this tragic occurrence and the effects it will have on women in the US.
